Beyond The Basics - Project 2.

A textured sleeve cardigan, knitted in 8ply, is designed to build your knitting skills with guided instructions.  

The back is worked first in this set-in sleeve garment.  Inset pockets require pocket linings to be worked before the front so they can be joined into them. 

The sleeves feature a simple knit and purl texture that is maintained while increasing. 

The back and front pieces are seamed together at the shoulders before front bands are knit up. 

Short rows are used to shape the collar. 

The sleeve and side seams are completed before sleeve tops and sewn into the armholes.
